What are your application requirements?
We require a household income of at least 2.5x the rent amount. We also conduct credit, criminal, and rental background checks.
What fees/deposits are due upon applying? Moving in?
Deer Run charges a $50 application fee per occupant over 18 residing in the unit.
We require a $500 security deposit due at time of application. An additional deposit may be required based on credit qualifications.
A $100 administrative fee is due upon move in.
How much is the security deposit?
Deer Run requires a $500 deposit when submitting an application. An additional deposit may be required due to an applicants credit score.
What leasing options are available?
Deer Run offers 6 to 15 month lease terms.
Is renter's insurance required?
Yes. We require our residents to have liability insurance with coverage of at least $100,000. It is the responsibility of the resident to obtain and pay for the renter's insurance.
Are utilities included?
No utilities are included in the monthly rent.
What are pet fees and deposits? Do you charge a monthly pet rent?
Deer Run is a pet-friendly community that accepts pets up to 70 pounds. Two pets maximum per home. Contact the office for a list of breed restrictions.
We require a $300 refundable pet deposit per pet, and a $100 non-refundable pet fee per pet due at move-in.
We do not charge a monthly pet rent.
When is rent due?
Rent is always due on the first day of the month.
Is there a late fee for overdue payments?
Yes. There is a $150.00 late fee after the 5th of every month.
How often is there a rent increase?
Rent increases are implemented upon renewal of the lease. You will not be subject to a rent increase in the middle of your lease.
How can I pay my rent?
Deer Run only accepts online payments through your resident portal account.
Your options of payment are ACH, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and Moneygram. Some of these options have added fees.
What are the hours of the leasing office?
Our leasing office is open Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM and Saturday 10:00AM- 2:00PM.
What are the pool hours and seasonal availability?
Our pool opens the middle of April to End of September.
Our pool hours are 10:00 am - 10:00 pm Tuesday – Sunday.
What appliances are included in the home?
Deer Run appliances are all electric and include: refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher. The homes in Building 9 include microwaves.
All of our homes include a full-size washer and dryer.
Are the fireplaces wood burning or gas?
Select homes include a wood burning fireplace.
What property amenities are included?
Deer Run residents enjoy a tennis court, bark park, 24-hour fitness center, picnic area with grilling station, and a seasonal pool.
Is there a laundry facility in the community?
No. Deer Run provides a full-size washer and dryer in every apartment home.
Is Deer Run near any major transportation routes?
Yes. I-26, I-526, and Rivers Avenue.
Is there public transportation nearby?
Yes, CARTA provides several different routes in our area. You can find their map and schedule on www.ridecarta.com/maps-schedules.
